There are so many things going on in the world right now, that it is very easy to let fear strike our hearts, especially this time of the year. If there were two doors in front of you: one is called FEAR and the other is called FAITH; which one would you choose? Of course, you would choose the door of FAITH. But do you realize that as you enter through the door of FAITH that FEAR doesn’t live there?
Do you find yourself waiting for the right moment to take a leap of faith? You have a dream of something you want to do but fear sets in… I need a little more money. I’m not smart enough. I need to lose weight.... Truth is Mother Theresa or Nelson Mandela never waited for any affirmations or approval from others. They took a leap of faith and did it.
Some people are afraid of life itself. When you look around, you can see that many people are ruled by fear. It can absolutely take over a person’s life. There will be obstacles, challenges, squirrels on your trail. But I made a commitment to myself that I will not live in fear. This is what I confess on a regular basis.
You say - What if I fail? I say - What if you don’t? You say - What will they say about me? I say – Who cares!
Embrace your imperfections, beat procrastinations and take the leap. I’d rather die leaping than die standing on the edge trying to figure it out. Leap with imperfections and perfect-it while you soar!
Simply be Great,
Beverly
