When is the last time you told your spouse thank you? I'm not talking about for passing the salt at dinner, that's just good manners. I'm talking about expressing gratitude for something your spouse has done like talking out the trash or cleaning the dishes.
Often times we take the things they are "suppose to do" for granted. Or we critize instead of thanking. "You didn't do it right" or "I would have done it this way".
Did you know that most people who have affairs state that they didn't feel appreciated at home, so they started looking elsewhere?
Your words don't have to be elaborate, they just have to be sincere. So start today and make it a daily habit. Put it in your calendar, in your phone or what ever you need to do to simply say "thank you".
Expressing gratitude in your marriage is not just a good habit, it's a good investment for a great future.
